Nylon monofilament (NMO) precision woven mesh filtration media offers enhanced removal characteristics and improved strength and durability. Each filament in the weave has been extruded with a consistent yarn diameter, enabling the filtration structure to deliver exact pore openings. Unlike multifilament and staple fibers, the smooth surface of a monofilament is easily cleaned and is not shedding. Share Filtration Filter’s precision fabrics provide a narrow aperture size distribution leading to accurate and predictable filtration. The weave pattern ensures a low-pressure drop and consequently an uninterrupted flow. NMO filter bags are available in micron ratings from 7 to 1000.
Polyester multifilament (PEM) filtration media provides the basis for an economical disposable filter bag, with very good dirt removal characteristics. Each strand within the weave is comprised of many smaller strands twisted together resulting in a structure, which offers good dirt holding capacity. The filtration of multifilament is a nominal raced. PEM filter bags are available in micron ratings from 100 to 800.
